The Repair and Service module is intended to provide a management tool to monitor all activities relating to service and repair. The module will be beneficial for all companies that provide billable/non-billable services that require billing of labour time and parts. This flexible module allows the user to accept jobs or service work orders into the system by entering the details of what is required in an extensive window area and there is a provision to record budgeted or estimated labour time.

The job can be categorized into a variety of job types, for instance, warranty service, on-site repair, recall service or other such activity. Each job can easily be assigned to an employee and the software provides viewing and reporting of the employee schedule. The employee can then utilize the software, through the time and attendance feature, to record the job started and the system will calculate the start time. Upon completion, the employee simply records the job number and the software will calculate the time consumed to date.

All labour time will be stored on the job for analysis of actual time spent versus the recorded budgeted labour time. The billing of all activities will be generated upon completion of the work ordered.
