This document has been organized to provide you with the information needed in implementing the programs found in this module. They have been sequenced in the process pattern most commonly used by SDC customers and should be set up and used in this order as part of your implementation process. Guided by your implementation consultant this will provide an on line document that can be referred to as you implement Dynamic 3i.
This program displays actual and standard costs for material and labour by job / sub.
This program is called by the Job Material / Labour Cost Inquiry Program (CC0100) to show job material cost of components. Press [ Exit ] to return to the main program (CC0100).
This program is called by the Job Material / Labour Cost Inquiry Program (CC0100) to show the job labour cost of components. Press [ Exit ] to return to the main program (CC0100).
This program is called by the Job Material / Labour Cost Inquiry Program (CC0100). The system displays standard information as recorded in the Engineering files and the Job Entry program; actual information to this production run and taken from changes made in Labour / Material Maintenance and entries to Labour / Material Usage; and the difference between the standard and actual.
This program is called by the Job Material Cost Inquiry Program (CC0101) to show job detail material cost associated with the suffix number entered on the previous screen. Press [ Exit ] to return to previous screen (CC0101).
This program is called by the Job Labour Cost Inquiry Program (CC0102) to show labour, set up, fixed overhead, variable overhead costs and other data related to the operation number entered in the previous screen (CC0102). Press [ Exit ] to go to the previous screen.
The program is called by the Job Detail Labour Cost Inquiry Program (CC0105). Press [ Exit ] to return to previous screen (CC0105).
On entry to screen, the system displays information from Labour Usage Entry : date of transaction, operator number, line numbers of entry in Labour Usage, pay rate, shift number, learning factor, actual time taken, time used to calculate earnings according to learning factor, hourly rate of pay and amount of money paid to employee for this Operation. See Labour Usage Entry, PC4100, for a more detailed description.
This program is called by the Job Material / Labour Cost Inquiry Program (cc0100) to show cost comparison only for jobs created in order entry program (oe2100). Press [ EXIT ] to return to previous screen.
This program compares actual production costs to standard costs for both material and labour. Availiable options : print summary of material and labour costs for the entire job ,print material costs for each sub job, print labour costs for each sub job, print material and labour costs, standard and actual for each sub job.
This program prints a hard copy of cost breakdown. This includes material, labour, variable and fixed overhead, and setup costs. Single Level Cost Calculation uses only first level of Structure file. The report provides recapitulation of direct and component costs, with totals. The program also has the capability to update the Inventory file.
This program reports on recapitulation of direct and component costs, with totals. Note : Changing the percentage here will only affect products that are updated at this session. To change fixed overhead globally, see Global Maintenance, SY0300.

This program prints a hard copy of cost breakdown including fixed and variable overhead, labour, material, setup costs. This program is similar to Product Standard Cost Calculation (ALL), CC0400, but can be run for individual products. It also has the capacity to update the inventory file.
This program prints material, labour setup, variable and fixed over-head and unit cost for every product in inventory within the ranges specified.
This program prints standard cost for product by job. According to times on Operation file, the system calculates allowed hours for the job. Total Standard Cost, by job, is broken down into material, labour, and overhead costs. Report prints summary of allowed hours and labour cost by Work Center.
This inquiry program displays for every component and sub-component of the structure which is query on :
a ) standard cost screen - includes material cost, labour cost, setup cost, fixed overhead cost, and variable overhead cost retrieved from stock master file, b ) standard material cost screen, c ) standard operation costs screen - includes only components which exist on operation file .
Comparison of the cost
update programs (CC0300 – CC0600)
CC0300 is just single level.
If Part A is made of B and C and B is made of D and E, CC0300 will only update a
single level of the part you enter. In this example if you entered part A it
would roll up costs of B and C into part A but it would do nothing with D and
E. Generally users of the application use this program for the print option as
it is nice to just be able to print how the costs are calculated for a single
manufactured item.
CC0400 calculates everything.
It goes through the entire BOM and recalculates all the costs for every part
that is manufactured. This option is done perhaps on a yearly basis. The
concept is similar as going through all the pricing and setting up new prices
for a new year.
CC0500 does an indented cost
calculation of all products that use a certain item. I the CC0300, example if
the user entered part E it would calculate cost of part B because it uses part
E, then it would also calculate part A because it uses part B which uses part
E. This option is typically used if the cost of a particular non-manufactured
item increases significantly and you wish to adjust all products that make use
of this item.
CC0600 does
an indented cost calculation of a particular product. It is similar to CC0500
except that the user enters the top level product for which they wish to
calculate the cost. This option is typically used to recalculate the entire
cost of a few products.
