Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) Data Sheet Summary Print IN8910

The program is used to generate the data sheet summary for Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS).  Please note that program does not generate the Material Safety Date Sheet (MSDS), this is just the summary sheet containing information about the MSDS and the product’s vendor.  The data sheet summary prints the data sheet number which is the MSDS sheet number, the data sheet date, product number and description, the location of the MSDS sheet, product vendor name and information, contact phone number and emergency contact number.   The sheet number specifies the MSDS sheet number so the shipper or person requiring the MSD for the product knows which sheet number goes with the product.  The sheet date is the MSDS date.  This date is used to make sure that the MSDS sheet is still valid.   Normally MSDS sheet is required to be updated every 3 years.  The location is the physical location in the warehouse/office where the MSDS is kept/located.  The vendor information shows the vendor name, address, contact phone number and emergency phone number.   The vendor’s information is stored/maintained in the Vendor Table Maintenance (GB1000) for the product’s main vendor while the data sheet number and sheet date are stored and maintained in the Stock Maintenance (IN0200).  The contact phone number is the vendor’s telephone number and the emergency number is stored and maintained in the vendor’s flex field 1.

 

The data sheet summary can be generated for a range of MSDS number or for a specific MSDS sheet number.

Enter the ending data sheet.

Beginning Product

Enter the beginning product code. The product must be a product purchased from a vendor.

Ending Product

Enter the ending product code.  The product must be a product purchased by a vendor.
