Jobs are defined in the system outlining the task in addition to the projected time required to complete the job. As the job progresses, automatic email notifications of the job activity are sent to people who are set to received email notifications. Recipients of email notifications are set based on the type of activity.
Traditional time and attendance functionality of time logging against a job results in more accurate cost and time analysis in addition to eliminating the costly needs entering time tickets. System triggers an exception if it senses a discrepancy between set rules and newly entered/current data. System reacts updating a file that holds these exceptions and at the same time sends email notifications to employee’s supervisor. These exceptions are mostly employee’s violations of the company set of rules for time and attendance. Exceptions are displayed in an easy to manage screen inquiry that allows the supervisor to manage these exceptions. These exceptions can classified as an infraction, depending on company rules, thereby subject to further management review can be elevated to Human Resources module demerit point system or it could be ignored requiring no further action. Exceptions elevated to the Human Resource demerit point system will trigger an email notification to the concerned employee.
